Race Coaching

Want to enter the Round the Island Race, but the start and race instructions scare you away?.... want to do some club racing but worried about what to do and when…. Let us help you to enjoy these events with no stress and a simple explanation on all aspects of racing but without the technical terminology.

With over 10 years experience as a RYA Yachtmaster Instructor and yacht racing including events such as the Fastnet, Cowes Week, Ramsgate Week, Cork Week, and many other events, we are able to offer coaching to you and your crew to suit your style of sailing and ambitions.

Julian Smith will work with your crew and you and assist as much or as llittle as required.  It may be that you just require someone with the experence to be onboard assisting with the start, course and racing instructions.  Either way we are here to help.

With experience racing yachts including J90, Dehler 36DB, Swan 41, J109, J80, Farr 40, Beneteau 40.7, DK40, Farr 52 Julian Smith is able to offer full crew coaching or just be there to help.
