Pre-sale Surveys
Experience has shown that selling a boat with a ‘clean report’ both saves money and speeds up the sale process. The purpose of a pre-sale survey is to give a snap shot of the boat’s current condition highlighting any significant deficiencies and recommending the most economic way to prepare the boat for sale. Where repairs are required, these can be carried out cost effectively so that the overall sale budget including brokerage and survey fees is known upfront.
What is Included:-
- Full Pre-Sale Survey report including recommendations and a valuation.
- Included in the Pre-Sale Survey is advice on preparing the boat for sale. It is well known that a clean, well presented and uncluttered boat will be far more attractive to a prospective buyer than one that needs antifouling, polishing and cleaning (not to mention old food still in the fridge!)
- Advice on rectifying deficiencies in a cost effective manner.
- Liaising with your Broker to get the boat presented ready for sale
