Sea Trials

A sea trial can form part of a pre-purchase negotiation and for some vessels is essential.  

It is highly recommended that any vessel surveyed ashore is tested afloat especially if it is a motorboat where the engines represent a significant percentage of the overall value of the vessel.

I can attend the sea trial on your behalf or attend with you in a consultancy role.  With extensive experience of over 25 years sailing worldwide I am able to assist during a sea trial to gain you advantage with the negotiation of a purchase should something come to light.  

Remember with sail and modern running rigging costing sometimes over £10,000 to replace, the value of a sea trial should not be underestimated.
